History and poetry are a great combination! District librarian Diane Nelson and Poet/Author Eileen Meyer share poems, including some with a diverse and multicultural perspective, as well as Meyer’s book, The Superlative A. Lincoln: Poems about our 16th President. Poems share a story in a “bite-sized” piece, yet allow room for a reader to relate it to their own experiences and increase engagement.
